What were you doing when...?

In 5° we are dealing with how to talk about past events.
We have also read about some events which made the world change,such as the Titanic sinking back in 1912 or the earthquake in Lisbon some centuries ago.
Here I post a picture I took two summers ago during my summer holidays in Cork.
The pic was taken in Cobh (the former Queenstown) in Ireland.
Cobh is well-known because it was the last calling port for the Titanic before she travelled the ocean and hit that iceberg which brought about such tragedy.
The sculptures are a homage to Annie Moore and her little brothers,who were the first immigrants registered in Ellis Island (where the Statue of Liberty stands) in New York,back to the end of 19th century and who departed Ireland from Cobh.
