I feel extremely happy today since I´ver just read your comment. It brightened up my day!
When you teach a subject at school you always dream of making your students an active part in it. What I mean is that you crave for communicating, for making language an important thing in their lives!.
You just wrote a comment that I did not expect, in fact, since I´m no longer your teacher.
However, I can tell you that both you and your classmates play an oustanding role in my memories as a teacher since you were one of the groups I taught in my first year at school.
I remember the Easter cards you made...do you know that I found yours last year? I still keep some of them.
By the way (I love boasting around about this...) I was lucky enough to sleep at Portora Royal, Oscar Wilde´s school in Enniskillen (Northern Ireland). It was great. You enter that school and there is a huge hall, with his portrait on the wall! I remember I was quite shocked since it was the same portrait I saw in one of the compulsory novels I had to read at the uni!!!.
I also like "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and I remember the film in the 1940s. I bought it a couple of years ago with a special edition of the novel.
